Lightning strikes kill 4 in 3 dists

Four individuals were killed and five others harmed in lightning strikes in Naogaon, Chapainawabganj and Jessore areas on Friday, reports UNB.

In Naogaon, two specialists - Shahidul Islam, 48, child of Moslem Uddin, and Rasi Chowdhury, 30, child of Mahfuzul Haque, - endured wounds after a thunderbolt struck them at Kuchinda-Kamarpara town in Sapahar Upazila at night.

They were first taken to Sahapar Upazila Wellbeing Complex from where they alluded to Rajshahi Medicinal School Healing Center (RMCH) as their condition decayed, said officer accountable for Sapahar police headquarters Samsul Alam Shah.
